COURSE DESCRIPTION
Upon completion of this course, the provider will have increased awareness and knowledge on the issue of human trafficking, recognize the important role that a provider has with trafficking victims and be able to identify red flags seen in potential victims. The provider will also gain a better understanding of how to use a trauma-informed approach when providing care to a person who has experienced human trafficking. Additionally, they will learn when to report potential victims of human trafficking to the appropriate authorities.

This 2-hour training can be delivered online or in person.

A Certificate and 2 Contact Hours Will Be Awarded Upon Completion. (Applicable to Nurses Only)
